family Tree

I learned a lot during the family tree and i didn't know how many family members I had. I wish i would of found out more than what I got but I guess i got do with what i got. I also sent a letter to one of my family members to get some more information

What are you doing for Thanksgiving? Do you have any traditions? Go in to detail about your plans for the 5 day weekend.
This Thanksgiving we are just having friends and some family come over to my house and I have wrestling practice. Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday I have wrestling practice at eight in the morning which will be fun. Thursday is thanksgiving and we are having my moms friends over and maybe my uncle. That will be my five day weekend.

Reflecting on the comments and grade of your stop-motion animation... what you would do differently if you had to do it all over again? Would you manage your time better? Find better lighting for your photos? Come up with a better idea? Explain what you would change about your video.
I would of came up with a better idea and made it longer and i would of also added music. I should of made the camera stationary because it moved a lot during my movie. I think i do deserve the grade i got because it wasn't creative and different. It was simple. I do think the lighting was good but it could of been a little better. If just need to be more creative and make better use of my time. It didn't help i waited till the last minute to my project either.

Tell me about your experience with taking your stop-motion photos. What problems did you run in to? What did you find difficult about the process? What would you go back and change about HOW you took the photos? Explain yourself.
My experience with stop motion animation was okay. It wasn't too easy but not too hard. I just couldn't think of anything to do until the block day. If i could do one thing differently i would think of something to do the night before we started taking pictures.

Stop motion animation is where you take a lot of pictures of something moving frame by fame and then put it together and make one "movie" so to speak.

Tell me about your idea for your 5 frame story board. What is the plot? How do you plan to make the story creative? Who's the main character? What is the beginning, middle and end? Tell me about your plan of attack.
My idea for the five frame story board is My day at school. I'm the main character and I have no idea how it will be creative but i'll find out. The beginning will be me walking into the school and the end will be me in class. That's my story.

Yesterday I uploaded photos to my blog all of them were edited differently. The one of coach brown I made him look tan, The eye i made it darker. I chose these photos because i had an idea of what i wanted to do to the photos already.

Tell me about your weekend!!!

This weekend my power went out for some reason. It kinda sucks because you know no power which means no T.V and no charging my phone. On the bright side it was a family bonding experience. We started a fire in the fire place and all slept in the living room, But the most fun part was sleeping with my dog Gabby. She never sleeps with me because she hasn't found out where my room is because we've only lived in this house for 5 or 6 months.

I know that photography is a type of art. Other than that i don't know a lot about it. I would like to know a lot more about it because it seems cool and my friends are into that kind of stuff.

This weekend I hung out with my friend Noah and he stayed the night at my house. On Sunday, Noah and I messed around at target and the park near our houses( he's my next door neighbor). I bruised my tail bone because I was being stupid. It turns out that I'm too big for a razor scooter and you can't drift on one either.

I don't agree or disagree because I don't care about the topic. I just do my own thing and don't worry about what girls wear nor anyone else. If I have no business in your life I don't care. Now, this may not be what the question asked but this is who I am. no one has time  to worry about what you're wearing because we are here to learn and then get out of this place. once we move on there will be no "thumb rule" or whatever other rules there are. But I will say one thing if you want to be treated like a young professional adult, you may want to dress like on and act like one too.

This weekend I hung out with one of my friends. We did all sorts of stupid things like mess around at Target because Walmart is to mainstream. Oh, we also bent my bike in half while going down a huge hill. I watched the chiefs loss and the falcons loss. Watched the royals pull off an amazing win 8 to 3.

What is an infographic? If you don't know, go look it up. Read about it and then in your own words tell me what an infographic is. What do infographics do? How do they work? What makes a really good infographic?

It is a graphic visual that gives information through the graphic picture. They are used to give out information.  They are usually used on in commercials and news papers to get the point across to the people they are meant for.

Tell me about your Homecoming weekend! If you didn't participate in the Homecoming festivities, what did you do? Share pics!
I went to homecoming with a few friends that happened to be girls, so I guess I had two "dates" to the dance. Before the dance i when to someones house and hung out with my "dates" and then went to homecoming. After the dance is when it became fun. I fell asleep at one of my "dates" house but sadly my other other "date" had to be mean to me while i was trying to sleep. That's my homecoming weekend.

Imagine Mr. Bacon has asked you to suggest one way of improving Blue Valley High School to make it a better place for students. Think about the changes that are needed at your school. Pick one change you feel would really make a difference and explain what it is and why you'd make the change.

One thing that needs to be changed is the food because the food isn't all that good and there needs to be more choices for us students. Its not that there aren't a lot of choice, there just need to be better choices. The fruit needs to taste like fruit and not like whatever it is.Also, the serving sizes need to bigger because your not feeding a baby, your feeding athletes and students that are growing. I want to feel more full through out the day not starving close to practice.

What is email? When do you use email in your own personal life? List reasons and ways that people use email. What do you know about "email etiquette"?

Email is a form of communication. I never use email because i forgot my password and don't feel like changing it. People use Email to communicate with others, do business, finish work, and other things that require email. I don't know anything about Email etiquette and don't plan on knowing anything.

Now that you've been in Emerging Technology for several weeks... what do you think? Do you think the web tools (Drive, Evernote, Bubbl, etc.) are helpful to you? Do you think they will be helpful throughout high school or even college? Explain.

I really like emerging tech because all we do is work on stuff that need to be done. The tools we use are helpful and i think it will help me through out my school career and even in the work force. If we didn't use these tools then i probably wouldn't know what to do or organize my thoughts.

I do not enjoy writing because I have bad hand writing. with me having bad hand writing no one can read what I'm writing. I never enjoy writing because of that reason and it kind of sucks. the ability of writing is so important because without it no one can communicate and without communication the world will fall apart.

this quote reminds me of the time I had to take a final I thought I would pass so I didn't study. So when the final came around I it was harder than I thought. I failed it, so by not studying I didn't do good on the final. What this quote is saying " do everything in your power to get ready for an event and if you don't then you are going to fail."

What is the importance of research? Why do you need to know how to research? What have you learned in high school about researching topics and finding quality resources? Have you had a helpful teacher that has taught you to research? Explain.

Research is important because without it you don't know what is happening in the world and what has happened in history. you need to know your topic and some sort of back round knowledge about it too. In high school I have learned that researching topics is the best way to find out information and you have to know that the websites you are going to are reliable for research.

For my global issue in Emerging Technology I have chosen steroid use. I have begun researching the issue and you can find my research questions here.

If i were in my 70's or 80's and I had to complain about kids these days. I would complain that they are too loud and do too many stupid things.

Tell me about the global issue you selected. What do you already know about the issue? What are you looking forward to learning about it? Explain.

My global issue is steroid use in the NFL and MLB. I know that this is a big issue for these sports because they cant stop the use of them and every time they stop someone the matter gets worse. I am look forward to finding out how it is going to be stopped by the NFL and MLB.

Over the weekend I had to ride a bike for PT because I hurt my back during football practice. I watched the chiefs game and the falcons because i like to watch the chiefs lose and the falcons win.

What is a Public Service Announcement? If you don't know what it is, Google it. In your own words, now tell me what it is? What are they used for? Can you recall an example of a PSA you've seen before?

A PSA is a way to get people to know what is going on with the world, someone, or something. PSAs are used a lot with people who are running for office and the new uses them sometimes. The last PSA i saw was for the marines and how they need more troops.

After watching the short clip of Ashton Kutcher's acceptance speech what did you take away from his advice? What does this quote mean to you -"Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you, and you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use."

I took a misunderstanding of life and turned it into something great. Life isn't what you think it is. it means your more than just a person, you're a stepping stone for a great idea. without you there are no great ideas, or anything else. life is pointless without you.
